Out and About

The world famous Eden Project is only a 40 minute drive. Several historic houses are nearby including Lanhydrock, a stunning National Trust property. The ancient fishing town of Padstow is just a short drive, famous for Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant, it offers fishing trips and river cruises on the Jubilee Queen or just time to wander through the narrow streets or watch the boats in the harbour.

Nearby Rock has a sailing and water skiing school and golf course. The glorious beach at Harlyn Bay has a surf school and hire shop. The area has many beautiful coastal walks and inland across Bodmin Moor with plants and wildlife. Cycles can be hired in Wadebridge to ride the 17 miles along the Camel Trail to Padstow or Bodmin, passing the Camel Valley Vineyards where it is possible to taste their outstanding sparkling wine.
